The Tigerfest Paper Airplane Challenge
MAKE IT
Make and decorate your own paper airplane in your dorm or at TigerFest using the instructions on the back—or create your own design!
(We will have extra instructions at the tent in case you forget.)
FLY IT
Bring your decorated airplane to our tent to compete in games and win prizes, then add it to our TigerFest Airplane Wall! We’ll display the finished art pieces at Frame Gallery.
TigerFest Airplane Competitions include:
Farthest Flight: Whose airplane can fly the farthest?
Target Flight: Can you fly your airplane through the targets?
Best Decorated: Show us your most creative airplane!
BONUS: Find your airplane at Frame Gallery after TigerFest and receive 25% off one item (excluding original art).

Add your creativity to the sidewalk and Chalk the Walk with us!

Grab your friends and step into our “I’VE BEEN FRAMED!” photo booth for a TigerFest photo.

What a fabulous evening we had at TigerFest last Tuesday, August 25, celebrating Sewanee’s incoming Class of 2030!
With TigerFest taking place the night before the first day of classes, there were plenty of opportunities for the new students to work off some nervous energy, have fun, and make new friends. All the FrameGals were on hand, adding their own creative flair. Connie made the colorful targets for our Paper Airplane Challenge, and Diane created the signs.
Our “I’ve Been Framed” Photo Booth was a hit as always, along with the Paper Airplane Challenge and Chalk the Walk. We were especially excited to meet so many art enthusiasts in the new class and look forward to welcoming them to Frame Gallery Gifts and Art!
