About Makers Market

Frame Gallery's new Makers Market is a celebration of creativity, community, and the joy of making things by hand. Like our workshops, it encourages exploration, connection, and the belief that art should be approachable, enjoyable, and free from the pressure of perfection.

Art is for Everyone

At its heart, the Frame Gallery’s Makers Market embraces the idea that art is for everyone. It’s about experimentation, play, discovery, and enjoying the process as much as the finished piece. Whether you're shopping, browsing, meeting local makers, or finding inspiration for your own projects, there’s something for every age and interest.

Sustainable Art in Action

One of the things that makes Makers Market activities sustainable is the use of leftover materials from the gallery's custom framing shop. Matboard, foam core, cardboard, and other framing remnants are transformed into imaginative works of art, demonstrating that art can flourish with everyday materials. It's a fun approach that encourages experimentation, resourcefulness, and the belief that art is about the joy of creating, not perfection. We continue to invent ways to use our scraps in art workshops and take-home art kits.

Looking Ahead

We hope to welcome additional makers throughout the summer to display and sell their handmade work. Artists working in any medium are encouraged to participate.

Stop by, shop small, meet local makers, and celebrate creativity with us!
