Chalk the Walk

Chalk the Walk is incredibly popular, and we’re always documenting and adding photos to our growing collection! This ongoing, open-ended art experience is available 24/7 under the canopy at Frame Gallery. Just grab a piece of chalk and add your own creative touch to the concrete.

It has been such fun to discover the new messages, drawings, games, and creations that appear under the canopy—especially after a busy weekend. We enjoy them all, but the chalk portrait of our giraffe may just take the prize!

Chalk the Walk is an important part of the vision behind Makers Market. We believe art should be accessible to everyone and that the simple joy of creating is one of life's greatest rewards. It is wonderful to see people of all ages stopping by to leave their mark and contribute to this ever-changing community canvas.
