| Frame Gallery is pleased to host a special exhibition, “Painting Together: A Celebration of Martha Keeble’s Legacy,” honoring the retirement of art instructor Martha Keeble and her extraordinary 40+ years of teaching art in Sewanee and beyond. At the opening reception this past Friday, friends, family, former students, and community members gathered at Frame Gallery to celebrate the creative impact of a teacher who has shaped so many artists of all ages with her insight, encouragement, wit, and creative spark. The exhibition features a rich tapestry of work from both current and former students, each piece a tribute to Martha’s talent as a gifted art teacher over the decades. | | | Exploring Still LifeA Painting Class With Artist Carole Forêt |

| Join Huntsville, Alabama, artist Carole Forêt for a relaxed, eight-person still life painting class on Saturday, July 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Frame Gallery.
“Participants will study the simple form of pears, learning to see like an artist by observing light, shadow, and the values that bring familiar objects to life,” says Forêt. “I’m grateful to host my third art class at the beautiful Frame Gallery — a place where people can heed the call of creativity within themselves.”
With only half of the eight remaining spots currently available, we encourage early registration. The class fee of $75 per person includes all the necessary paint supplies.
Carole is one of the region’s most recognizable names in the arts. An Alabama native and Auburn University graduate, Carole hails from a long line of talented artists and has worked professionally as a teacher and mentor to students for 35 years. |
