  • Wants to begin sewing but knows very little about sewing machines.

What You Will Learn:

We will cover the basics: bobbin winding, different pressor feet, changing needle, changing stitches, and sewing many straight lines.

You will also learn to sandwich, quilt, and bind your masterpiece, which will measure 36” x 60”.

Classes are a combination of discussion, demonstration, and practice.

Requirements & Pricing:

You must register before March 8th and have or rent a sewing machine in good working order that you can bring to class each week.

Classroom sewing machines are also available for rental during a class ($10 fee per class session). Quantities are limited, so please ask to reserve a machine as soon as possible. Plan to come to the shop early on the day of class so that we can show you how to thread and operate the machine.

The class fee is $200 for 4 sessions, each of which is 3 hours long. The cost of supplies is separate from the class fee.

A class supply list will be provided upon sign up completion with 1/2 non-refundable deposit.
