Please join us for a reception for Lendon Noe and her exhibit, “Grand Simplicities.” Lendon is a native of Jackson, Tennessee, where she was a professor of art at Lambuth University for 28 years. She graduated with a B.A. in Art and Literature from Rollins College in Florida, and studied for advanced degrees at the Rocky Mountain School of Art, Denver, Colorado, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier, Vermont.
Working primarily in oil and pencil, she enjoys creating site specific shows reflecting her love for natural history, nature imagery and works of literature. Lendon calls Sewanee her “refuge”and is grateful for friends and the beauty of nature for inspiration.
